- Historical allusion is a reference to a person, event, or situation from history that is used to enhance the meaning of a text or to draw a comparison. These allusions can help to create a deeper understanding of the themes, characters, or messages within a work by connecting them to well-known historical figures or events.

example : struggle for independence

- Natural allusion refers to references made to elements of nature, such as plants, animals, weather, landscapes, or natural phenomena, within a literary work.

Love Amidst History

Beneath the sky of Red and White that flutters

Our love grows like rice in the fields

Flowing gently despite the storms of history

Like Raden Ajeng Kartini who fought

Paving the way for women tireless and bold


We are like Soekarno and Fatmawati

United in dreams though separated by distance

A love unconfined by time and space

Facing colonization we remain united

Becoming a strength in every step we take


Amidst the ruins of the past

We write our story like a poem by Chairil

Awakening souls challenging injustice

Our love is a struggle

Inheriting the spirit for a brighter future
